How to add items to an Estimate

A user can add individual bill codes to an estimate or add a billing template.   A user can also do a combination of individual bill codes and templates and then still modify as needed.

Navigate to the estimates tab at the desired visit record or patient record.  The mechanics of adding a billing code is similar to how bill codes are added to an invoice

You can add by looking up bill codes by code, description or using the "bill code picker.  (see this article for details)

The only difference is that in an estimate you need to complete the low and high qty amount which will then calculate the total low and high range of an estimate.

Pro Tip - holding down the modifier key (option or control) will suppress the dialog box when you are deleting individual billing codes.  It really speeds up the process
