SpecVet has a feature that allows you to add a "sticky note" to a record.  This compares to adding a yellow note to the outside of a patient's paper record.  This feature is only for the visit and is not visible by any person outside of the hospital staff.   It is not a permanent record, it can be deleted or changed at any time.  

Follow these steps:

1.  Select the "Report" tab within the patient visit

2.  Add the notation to the "Visit Notes" box at the right of the screen

3.  Once you have added your notation it is visible from the visit report screen

4.  It is also visible from the dashboard within the visit detail section in "Notes" under the "Visit" tab
